Ministry Baptist Church was constituted on May 31, 1992 and is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Georgia Baptist Convention, and the Valdosta Baptist Association. We moved to our current facilities in May of 1997. We exist for the following objectives: To worship the LORD our GOD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. ~The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on GOD, giving HIM our worship and receiving HIS blessing and inspiration. Each of these occasions is a special time of spiritual refreshment. To edify our brothers and sisters in JESUS CHRIST. ~ Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. That’s why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family — bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, this circle of care is ever widening. We’d be delighted to include you, too. To grow believers up to be effective witnesses in the world, reaching others with the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST and thereby increase the Kingdom of GOD. To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and accept it as GOD’S Word to man, a book that is alive and relevant to life today. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure, leading to spiritual growth which enables us to serve HIM better. The BIBLE, the NEW TESTAMENT in particular, establishes the doctrine of this church. The 2000 Baptist Faith and Message generally describes our interpretation of GOD'S WORD. The congregation of Ministry Baptist Church extends a cordial invitation for you to be our GUEST at all scheduled services. It is our prayer that you will choose to be in service with us at your earliest convenience. We promise you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. YOU MAY BECOME A MEMBER OF MINISTRY BAPTIST CHURCH BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS: (1) Accepting Jesus Christ as personal SAVIOR and LORD and immersion baptism, (2) By statement of faith in Jesus Christ as personal SAVIOR and LORD with acknowledgment of immersion baptism, or (3) By the promise of a letter from a Sister Southern Baptist Church. You are always welcome at Ministry Baptist Church. THE BAPTIST FAITH & MESSAGE
